Bill Harper began doing business as Harper Diesel in 1975 as a machine and engine rebuilding shop. Harper Diesel became Harper Diesel & Machine Service, Inc. in 1981 and began primarily rebuilding, repairing and selling heavy equipment. In 2003, Bill's son, Ben, joined the company. In addition to selling complete running machines, Harper Diesel specializes in used and rebuilt parts and components for drill rigs
