The agricultural giant and its dealers appear to be violating long standing Federal law by limiting the ability of farmers and independent repairers to fully fix their tractors, advocates say.  WASHINGTON —Tractor manufacturer John Deere has been preventing farmers from fixing their tractors in violation of federal law, says and the Public Interest Research Group (PIRG), independent advocacy groups promoting “right to repair” legislation.
