LEVELS OF MEMBERSHIP
Standard Membership in the IEDA is reserved for those companies operating strictly as independent dealers and who have been in business on their own for at least two years prior to applying for membership. They are dealers who have an established a reputation for integrity and ethical business practices, and are comfortable providing references in an application process. Brokering is permitted as long as IEDA dealers own the equipment they are marketing for sale. According to the organization by-laws, an “independent” dealer is defined as a company who is not a main line dealer of CAT, Komatsu, Volvo, John Deere or Case.
Associate Membership is reserved for companies who have been in business on their own for at least two years prior to applying for membership in the IEDA and have established a reputation for integrity and ethical business practices. They are companies who offer a product and/or service to Standard Members, often at a discount or with some level of incentive. The IEDA fully supports the Associate Member base, and encourages members to utilize the products and services being offered to them whenever the opportunity should arise.
An application for membership is required to be reviewed by the IEDA Board of Directors before a company is offered membership in the association. If you are interested in joining, please fill out the form below and submit for review. Thank you in advance for your interest in the IEDA.
Sponsor Level Affiliation is an acknowledgement of support from organizations and businesses who are not recognized as “Independent Dealers” and therefore do not qualify for membership according to the IEDA organizational by-laws.
This level is designed specifically for OEM dealers, equipment manufacturers, auction companies and industry specific organizations who have a proven record of making ethical business decisions.
