2018 Annual Meeting & Vendor Expo Recap
The IEDA would like to thank all our participants who helped make the 2018 IEDA Annual Meeting & Vendor Expo a huge success! From the attendees, exhibitors and sponsors, to the speakers and of course our members, these events would not have been successful without all of you!
Largest Meet & Greet to Date!
IEDA members, invited guests and sponsors filled the Grand Salon at the Omni Championsgate, Orlando. Thank you to Heavy Equipment Inventory for sponsoring a Rum Tasting event. We sampled over 10 different rums from across the globe and they were all delicious. Calvin Group complimented the rum with a cigar rolling table. The weather was gorgeous and the outside patio was lit up like fireflies with stogies.
The exhibit hall opened at opened at 7:30am. Attendees enjoyed a hot buffet breakfast and had plenty of time to visit the Associate member exhibitors at the Vendor Expo.
The meeting officially kicked-off at 9:00am with an introduction of the new 2018 Board of Directors. We welcomed new board members Kiki Brignoni, (Heavy Equipment Company), Michael Cole (Cole Equipment) and Michael Pentz (Calvin Group).
Speaker Wally Adamchik spoke about Zero Tolerance For Average: Leadership That Takes Guts. Standard member introductions followed which gave our dealer members an opportunity to introduce themselves and let others know what types of equipment they were looking to purchase.
New this year! Dealer member Sell & Networking Session gave members ample time to network with other members dealers. A few pieces of equipment were sold that hour!
Mike Buchantz, from Associates Environmental spoke about Tier Four Regulations: Anticipating the Future and How it Will Affect Your Bottom Line
Lunch was served and the Expo re-opened
Brian Bluff & Matt Ford from Site-Seeker.com spoke about digital marketing: Stop the Heavy Lifting: An Efficient Approach to Today’s Digital Marketing
Round table discussions followed giving members an opportunity to share ideas, concerns and feedback on topics relevant to the industry and their business.
Closing remarks were at 3:30pm.
